How do we deal with Sustainability?

At GTC+, we help companies in the (greenhouse) horticulture sector move forward. We do this primarily in the areas of supply chain optimization and sustainability – two topics that increasingly go hand in hand.

We see that sustainability is no longer a “nice-to-have,” but a prerequisite for companies to remain future-proof. At the same time, we know that everyone is busy and that margins are under pressure. That is why we believe that sustainability only works if it actually delivers results: greater efficiency, less waste, lower costs, or a stronger image.

What we appreciate is that more and more companies are intrinsically motivated to take steps – big or small. And we applaud that. Because if everyone does something, we will get there together. If we all wait for each other, or for new legislation, we will never achieve the goals.

We also take a critical look at ourselves. How we travel, what we consume, and how we work – everywhere we try to become smarter and greener. Our B Corp certification is important proof of this.

In addition, circularity is becoming increasingly important, partly due to new laws and regulations. And because energy is becoming increasingly scarce and expensive, we must look beyond just saving – it is about collaborating on smart, structural solutions.

Collaboration is therefore the key word. Sustainability can only be achieved if we do it together: with companies, municipalities, industry associations, and partners in the supply chain. We are happy to commit to this!
