Food Atonomy – a part of the Hungarian Tungsram group had developed a new LED light with new features specially for Greenhouse usage. To support the introduction into the market and also to gain more knowledge in the field of Greenhouse farming, which can be used again for further product development, it was decided to start co-operating with Dutch Growers and Dutch Technology. For this purpose a consortium was formed between the parties under the project management guidance of GTC+. The objective of the cooperating parties is to approach projects together in order to have a better change for really successful projects. A second step was to develop a first Greenhouse project in Hungary. GTC+ delivered the program-manager to manage different disciplines and sub-projects such as ‘financing of the project’, ‘government support’, ‘technology choices’, finding appropriate land, the right ‘energy-mix’ etcetera.
